Food News: Pizza Hut’s Ultimate Hershey’s Chocolate Chip Cookie

Today, Pizza Hut announced the Ultimate Hershey’s Chocolate Chip Cookie, also referred to as a “pizza cookie.” By that I mean, it’s a giant chocolate chip cookie, cut into eight wedges like a pizza. Granted, it is supposed to be about the size of a pizza at 8 inches in diameter, and is baked to order, making me think there’s a chance for some ooey gooey deliciousness there. The cookie is $4.99 with the purchase of a pizza or $5.99 as a single item.

Now, this isn’t a new thing. Papa John’s has their Mega Chocolate Chip Cookie, which is essentially the exact same dessert. I like that competitive spirit! Will Pizza Hut’s, being Hershey’s-branded, taste better? I’d bet my chips on it.
